HORORATA LEAVES COLON

The Hororata, which left Tokomaru Bay on July 23 for. London, Avonmouth, Liverpool, and Glasgow, via Panama, sailed from Colon on Tuesday. JAPANESE STEAMER FOR LYTTELTON The Japanese vessel Koyo Maru left Muraron, Japan, on August 10 with a cargo of sulphur, of which 2700 tons are to be discharged at Auckland. She is due at that port on September 5, and continues discharge at Lyttelton and Castlecliff. CANADIAN HIGHLANDER SAILS The Canadian Highlander, which lost a blade of her propeller when en route from Montreal, left the dock at Auckland on Thursday morning after having had a new blade fitted, and sailed later in the day for Wellington. She was due at Wellington yesterday, and is to complete discharge at Australian ports. POUT NICHOLSON LOADING The Port Nicholson, which left Lyttelton on Thursday for New Plymouth, Wellington, Napier, and Auckland, has had her loading Itinerary expedited. The vessel is now scheduled to reach Auckland from Napier on August 26, and she is to sail for London. Avonmouth, Liverpool, and Glasgow, via Cape Horn, on September 1. PICTON AND NELSON SERVICES The Tamahine was withdrawn from the Picton service on her arrival at Wellington on Saturday, and will lay up for overhaul and survey. Her place is to be taken by the Arahura, which, starting to-day. will leave Wellington for Picton at 11 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. She is to leave Picton at 11 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The Tamahine is to leave Wellington in resumption on Monday, September 3. The Arahura will be withdrawn on her arrival at Wellington the previous day. The Kaitoa is to take up the Arahura's running in the Nelson service to-day, and will leave Wellington from then on at 6.30 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
