FAREWELL TO MR W. STEWART
* PRESENTATION BY CANTERBURY LAND BOARD The members of the Canterbury Land Board said farewell to Mr William Stewart, formerly Commissioned of Crown Lands in Canterbury and recently appointed Valuer-General, at an informal gathering at the United Service Hotel yesterday afternoon. Mr T. dec chairman of the board, made a presentation to Mr Stewart from the board of a suit-case and a Gladstone bag.
