TEMPLETON SCHOOL COMMITTEE

At the monthly meeting of the Templeton School Committee there were present: Messrs R. Johnston (chair-, man), D. Mackie (secretary), J. F. Wright, L. Denniss, and W. Taylor. Correspondence was received from the Paparua County Council stating that one additional light would be supplied for Church road. It was decided to write and thank the council for its grant and to recommend that the light be erected at the corner of Queen street. It was reported that the monthly subscriptions were proving satisfactory. Miss Bell, Jhe newly-appointed assistant mistress, had taken up her duties. Accounts amounting to £1 10s were passed for payment.
