INCREASED TRAMWAY TRAFFIC
The Tramway Board's takings for Grand National Week this year are already £l9O more than last year's. A further increase of £67 was made on "Wednesday. The better weather has had some effect on the takings, but both last year and this year the Wednesday of Grand National Week was fine and sunny. The fares were the same for both years, except, that last year the passes were transferable.
