V.IKKl.F.vs.i ; RUGBY, August 14. | The Exchequer return of receipt. ! and expenditure during the current ! financial year to August 11 shows j that, excluding tiie self-balancing items, the total of ordinary revenue receipts last week amounted to £ 10,865,745. and the total of ordinary expenditure to £4,912,492. Income tax collected during the week amounted to £3,043,000 and customs and excise to £4,059,000. The total yield of ordinary revenue for the financial year to date is .C 205,097,486, compared with £207,668,091 collected for the corresponding period in the previous year. Ordinary expenditure to date is £255,819,570, which compares with £ 253*729,802 at the corresponding date in 1933.
