Mary Martin discusses the value of t;uc., tours, while T. Vernon Griffiths rioaiss with the influence o£ "celebrity" concerts on musical appreciation in general. An extremely interesting article by L. D. Austin discusses the art of Leopold Godowsky, while another describes the visit paid by the writer to Paul Howard, of Adelaide, a great but littleknown pianist. The issue also contains the usual local news from various parts of New Zealand.
