The famous express, the Flying Scotsman, which runs between King's Cross, London, ancl Edinburgh, in both directions every week-day, a distance of 392,! miles, in seven and a half hours, consistently making a world's record nonstop run, completed at the week-end 60 runs, totalling more than 20,000 miles without losing a minute. Arrivals in both directions were absolutely on time for all these runs.
