At Olympia men are busily preparing for this year's radio exhibition which will open on Thursday, and which is attracting many visitors from abroad, as well as from all over Britain. There are now between 6,000,000 7,000,000 wireless license holders in Britain, and the figure has grown to this huge total with amazing rapidity. A flourishing, progressive industry has sprung up in which competition is so keen that it is estimated that a 20 per cent, decrease in prices will accompany a 20 per ce 'it. increase in performance compared with the sets offered last year. Low-priced television sets will a «o be a feature of the exhibition, while broadcasting artists will give Programmes in a temporary theatre With accommodation for 3000.
