SENTENCE OF THREE YEARS' IMPRISONMENT

Sentence of three years* imprisonment, concurrent with a term of five years now being served, was imposed on James Patrick Burke by Mr Justice Blair to-day for "receiving" a stolen aafe key. A verdict of not guilty was returned on three charges of breaking, entering and theft of £l4. attempted breaking and entering and theft of the key. Burke was arrested for drunkenness at Blenheim, and the kev and explosives were found m his bag He had 18 previous convictions.
