- 01. TiJUEAK AT KAJAI'O) A J.:i-roonn.d two-storeyed house in Berwick street, Kaiapoi, was destroyed by fire last night. The building was owned by.Mr W." Haigh, of Balcairn. It was very old and had been unoccupied for some time. It, is understood that there was'no insurance.
