FRENCHWOMAN'S FINE PERFORMANCE (Received August 10, 1.45 a.m.) PARIS, August 9.
Mademoiselle Boucher, flying a Caudron aeroplane at Marseilles, maintained an average speed of 256 miles an hour over 1000 kilometres, a record.
