ST. ALBANS SCHOOL
"OLD (STUDENTS' ASSOCIATION A general meeting of the members ** the St Albans School Old Students' i Association was held in the school, Mr G~ F. Allen presiding over a good attendance. It was decided to accept the recommendation of the executive committee and provide a variety stall for the school fair .on Saturday, October 13. Several offers were made by those Jgreaent to provide material for the vtaiV and those present were formed
into a committee to make all arrangements. The next meeting will be held on Monday, September 17, at 8 o'clock. It was decided to ask the executive committee to recommend a scheme of colours to be used with the membership badges to indicate the school decade to which the member belonged. A congratulatory letter was received from Mr C. Hall, a former teacher. It was agreed that Mr J. Randall should arrange for a portion of a concert to be given in aid of the school funds in September, to be given entirely by old scholars. The headmaster, Mr J. E. Thwaites, thanked the meeting for its offer in this matter.
