Following the announcement that not only German but foreign newlywed couples on their honeymoon would receive special facilities in Cologne such as free theatre tickets and trips, the Mayor of Margate, England, has written to the Burgomaster of Cologne offering similar concessions to German honeymoon couples in his town. The Margate Mayor has also proposed an exchange of an English against a German couple, all expense? being paid.
