LIGHT RAIN IN ENGLAND
(BiUTISn OfflClAL WIBKLBSS.) RUGBY, June 21. Rain, generally light, but in a lew places heavy, fell in all parts of England to-day. Although it was thoroughly welcome to most people after the weeks of drought, it diminished the fashionable delights of Ascot, where their Majesties drove to the courss in a closed car instead of the customary open landau. The rain also interfered with cricket, holding up most county matches.
