TO ASSIST THOSE IN NEED. —A successful hare drive, organised by Mr A. E. Williams, in aid of the Mayor of Lyttelton's Relief of Distress Fund, was held at Port Levy. The party numbered 10 guns and secured 90 hares. The hares are now at winter weight and in exceptionally fine condition.
