WAGES CUT RESTORED

♦ (EBESS ASSOCIATION TELEOBAM.) HASTINGS, jWe 22. The restoration of the whole of the 5 per cent, cut in wages to the outside staff, and of half the 10 per centcut in wages to the office staff, has been made by the Hastings Borough Council. The restoration, which is retrospective to April 1, does not apply to employees earning more than £.300 a year. No cut in wages less than i £l5O a year was made.
