LAUNCH BY QUEEN MARY ON SEPTE.MKEK 26 Advice was received yesterday by Mr G. M. A description of the capacity of this great vessel. 1018 feet long, and weighing 73,000 tons, was given in The Press" yesterday in the report of an interview with Mr Warren. The engines would be capable of developing 200,000 horsepower, he said, and the current on ward would be sufficient to light a city with a population of 100,000.
