Negligent Driving—John Frederick. Ayers, 20s and costs. Negligent Driving of Horse and Waggon—Hadrian Travis, 10s and costs. Cycling on Footpath—Stanley Gibson, 15s and costs; John Hadley, 10s and costs; William Harris, 5s and costs; Roland Smith, 15s and costs; John Wolridge, 5s and costs. Failing to Give Signal—Ronald Burns, 10s and costs. Car Wrongly Parked—George Collingwood Dingle, 10s and costs. Negligently Riding a Bicycle—Ernest Arthur Hopkins, 5s and costs; Louis James Shaskey, ordered to pay costs. Proceeding Against Automatic Signal—Frederick Oliver V. Jones, 10s and costs. Driving Car with No Lights—Margaret Morris, 15s and costs.
It was stated in error on Thursday morning that in a court case at Rangiora in which Frederick George Proffitt a farmer, of Cooper's Creek, Oxford, who was represented by Mr E. D. R. Smith, claimed from Frank Pickering, also a farmer of Cooper's Creek (Mr L. J. Hensley), £3 as the value of a steer and £5 as damages, that judgment yras given for plaintiff for the sum claimed with costs. Judgment actually was given for the defendant with costs.
