THE RELIEF WORKERS' TRAM CONCESSION
TO THB EDITOR OP THB PRESS. Sir, —Everyone, more or less, is having a dig at the Labour Tramway Board: more kicks than halfpence seem to be the order of the day. Therefore I deem it necessary at this juncture to state my appreciation, on behalf of hundreds of my fellow relief workers, for the magnificen: concession (in keeping with our miserable pittance) of 3d return to and from our places of abode from any part of
Christchurch and suburbs; also for the special buses put on to relieve the congestion, and last, but not least, for the courtesy of all tram and bus conductors and motormen, even to the official who sells the tram tickets. Once again many thanks to the Labour Tramway Board.—Yours, etc., P. F. ROGAN.
