The fine collection of mounted heads of Canadian wild animals recently received from the parks branch of the city of Toronto has been placed in position on the wall of the zoological room of the Auckland " War Memorial Museum. Among them is a. particularly large moose head, which is Lalanced by a wapiti head with the horns in velvet. The .rare Canadian antelope is represented by heads of both male and female, and there are also good specimens of Rocky Mountain sheep and goat. Various species of deer complete the collection.
