ALI BEY DEFEATS MICHOT (I'KF.SS 4.SSOCIATIOK TELEGRAM.) GISBORNE, June 21. After a rather uninteresting match to-night. Ali Bey defeated Michot by two falls to one. After a series of headlocks and a dump, Michot secured a fall in the third round, but Bey obtained submission falls with hammerlocks in the fifth and sixth rounds. DR. FRED MEYER V. OKI SHI KIN A The Christchurch Wrestling Association has obtained the first match of the season between Oki Shikina, of Japan, and Fred Meyer of the United States. Meyer's appearance at Christchurch has been eagerly awaited, while the Japanese will be making a we!« come reappearance when ho steps in the ring against the American at St. Jcmes' Theatre next Wednesday evening. All tickets, including reserves, are now available at Lange'?, United Service Buildings.
