NEW ZEALANDER TO BE NOMINATED COVKUNMENT'S DECISION [THE pr.ESS Special Serrice.] WELLINGTON, June 20. As an important step in the development of the Royal New Zealand Air Force, the Government has decided to nominate Flight Lieutenant A. dc T. Nevill to undergo the next course of training at the Royal Air Force stall college at Andovcr, to commence in January next. Flight Lieutenant Nevill will leave for England immediately. . The Minister for Defence (the Hon. J. G. Cobbc) stated to-day that in the intervening months to the opening of the slafl college, Flight Lieutenant Nevill would be employed on matters connected with the provision of technical equipment required for the Royal New Zealand Air Force. That equipment involved the fitting of wireless navigational and armament "car into the bomber aircraft recently ordered by the Government, and provided, in addition, for the workshop equipment necessary for the maintenance of the machines. The training the officer was to receive, the Minister added, would be valuable to the development of the Dominion's air force. Flight Lieutenant Nevill holds an appointment as staff officer to the Director of Air Services and Controller of Civil Aviation (Squadron Leader T. M. Wilkes). He qualified at the staff college entrance examination in January, 1932. He is a graduate of the New Zealand University, having taken the B.Sc. degree, and is an associate member of the Institute of Aeronautical Engineers.
