COMPLAINT FROM NEW ZEALAND
LATH ARRIVAL OF NKW MODELS "There is a strange complaint frcm a New Zealand correspondent: in the 'Machinery Market."' says an English writer. "It is stated that owing to the Olympia Motor Show being held in October, new models of English cars are delayed until they arrive in New Zealand too late for sales in time for the summer season. It is predicted therefore that the Americans will get most of the new business.. This is strange, because the new American models do not make their appearance until the end of January, and therefore would arrive in New Zealand right at the end of the summer. "This is an interesting point of view, but we are afraid that to hold the Olympia Motor Show in May or June, so that the new models could be timed to arrive in New Zealand at the end of July or August, would not be a practical proposition.
