IMPROVEMENT IN RETURNS

RAILWAY REVENUE EFFECT OF STOCK VALUES The died oC htock values compared with those of a year ago is reflected in the railway returns for Canterbury during the last four weeks. The number of cattle and calves carried increased by nearly 900, and the number of sheep by more than 48,000.
