BOMBAY MILL STRIKE
♦ PROPAGANDA FOR EXTENSION (Received May 27, 8.40 p.m.) CALCUTTA, May 26. Twelve Labour leaders were arrested and officers of the textile strikers' committee were searched by the Bombay police. Communist leaflets had been distributed urging workers in all industries to join the strike, collect arms and ammunition, and fight the police and troops. The Government has banned strike meetings, processions', and demonstrations.
