BRITISH POLICE COLLEGE
* REALISTIC TRAINING PLANNED OPENING NEXT .MONTH (Received April 25, 8.20 p.m.) LONDON, April 24. The new police college at Hendon, which the Prince of Wales will open on May 31, is equipped for a two years' course. The equipment , includes replicas of the Metropolitan ' police court and the criminal record office at Scotland Yard. It is hoped ahat these will make the training of future police chiefs more realistic. The embryo policemen will he subjected to gruelling cross-exam-inations in the box in tr. sham police court and will obtain firsthand experience in correct cour. procedure. . Courses in detection will illustrate staged murder scenes, in which significant clues will be pointed out. There will also be demonstrations of traffic control by means of model vehicles.
