COMPLETE AGREEMENT REACHED
TEA-ROOM WORKERS' AWARD

A complete agreement was reached in the Conciliation Council to-day in the Wellington industrial district tea-room and restaurant workers' dispute. Under the new agreement, the minimum wage for waitresses, pantrvmnids, and kitehf nmaids is 30s a week, while waiters and male kitchen hands receive £2 2s (id. The agreement, which will operate for one year, will eov r the whole of the Wellington industrial district. The uate of Us coming into operation will be iixed by the Court of Arbitration on May 11.
