CANTERBURY FLOUR MILLS, LTD.
DIVIDEND OF 8 PER CENT. The annual report of the Canterbury Roller Flour Mills Co., Ltd.. to be presented at the general meeting on April 30. reviews the year ended January 31, 1934. The year's working shows a profit of £1451 Cs lid, making the balance of profit and loss account £2059 lis 6d. The directors recommend payment of a dividend of 8 per cent, bn the paid-up capital of the company. This will absorb £I3OB, leaving a balance of £G9I lis 6d to be carried forward. Messrs P. Wood and G. Trapnell retire by rotation, and, being eligible, offer themselves for re-election. The balance-sheet gives the paidup capital as £17,100, with reserve fund cf £63 and profit and loss balance £2060, making a total of £19,223. On the assets side land is set down at £3OO, buildings Hess £7l depreciation) £1339, plant (less £l6O depreciation) £2136, mortgage £I.OOO, sundry debtors £3830. stock £7039, bank £3038, shares £2OB.
