KILLED BY BILL

_.._♦ _ CORONER'S COMMENT AT IN QUEST iTRE.Sa AKSOI IATIuS TT.LEG n :■. >.!.; HASTINGS, April :.M. "This goes to show that no person should ever trust a Jersey bull, no matter what its previous disposition or conduct may have been," said Mr O. Kbbett. the coroner, at an inquest at Hastings this morning into the death of John Irwine. Mr Ebbett added: "I suggest the advisability of the people in this country—especially where children are concerned — of warning people against the danger of giving a Jersey bull a chance. I knew Irwine. and know that he had been familiar all his life with the handling of cattle." The evidence showed that the bull had been reared as a pet. that it had allowed children to play with it. and that it had never previously shown any sign of being dangerous.
