Soon they will be expecting that cheap trip by rail—the little holiday that saves Jack and Jill from becoming dull. Parents, it will do you good to be young again with your children, in bright, holiday outings by Rail. Less than a penny a mile, second-class, and a fraction over a penny, first-class, for adults, are the ruling fares. Half-fares are charged for children under 12 years, and those under 3 years are carried free. For particulars of suitable train trips consult your nearest Stationmaster, City Booking Office, or other Travel Agency. Special Concessions for Family Parties Cheap and Safe Trips for All
The most extraordinary gipsy family in the world arrived in Liverpool recently from Winnipeg, Canada. Their name is Sterio, and there are 29 of them, from Mr and Mrs Sterio and their eldest son, Sperio Sterio, down to the little groups of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. These Sterios travel, not in caravans, but in expensive saloon cars—they brought two with them—and luxury liners. Yet they cling to their gipsy dialect and costume—the women wearing fur coats over theirs—and speak to no person outside the family party. They have been travelling in this way for two years, and have been practically all wwncl th* world
