♦ di;kbv and eastek ci'i' This af'tci-noon the New Zealand Whippet Racing Club will hold its Easter meeting at Bushey Park. Riccarton when a large attendance is expected lo witness the racing. The programme will open with the Easter Cup race, one of the Dominion's premier short-limit flat handicaps. After the heats and final of the cup race comes the main event of the day, the New ZeaUmd "Whippet Derby, which, restricted to dogs born after March 1, 1933. and carrying a stake of 20 sows is the blue ribbon event in the whippet world. The next event is the Crevke Light-weight, a handicap restricted to dogs 221b and under on the dav of the race. The final event is the Christchurch Handicap, a secondclass event with the usual restrictions.
