Woihmann) as follows: Inspector A. S. Bird, of Timaru. is promoted to Die rank of superintendent. Inspector C. W. Lopdcll, of Greymouth, is transferred to Hamilton to replace Inspector D. C. Eraser, who is transferred to Dunedm as superintendent. Sub-Inspector D. Cameron, of Dunedin, is promoted to be inspector at Greymouth. Sub-Inspector T. Shanahan, of Auckland, is promoted to be inspector at Dunedin. Senior-Sergeant J. Powell, of Whangarei, is promoted to the ran* of sub-inspector and is transferred to Christchurch. Sub-Inspector G. 13. KcUvanis. of Christchurch, is transferred to Auckland.
