♦ SCHEME VOU SPKEYDON OUTLINED The provision ol' a site fer a children's playground in Spreydon is planned by the City Council, and a report on ways and means was before the meeting o£ that body Inst nighlTh>' report of. the finance committee stated that a report had been received placing a value on each of the different, reserves in Spreydon and from, the information the committee was assured that the sale of certain reserves would provide sufficient to purchase the proposed children's playground site for A 1750. . " The committee had authorised its chairman to act with the chairman ot the Town Planning Committee in submitting an application to the Lands Department for permission to sell the reserves concerned. The report was adopted.
