SHIPPING NOTES The Opihi is due here to-day from Wellington, and will sail for Dunedin. She is due back, via Oamaru and Timaru, on Friday, and will load on Saturday for Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth. The Totara should arrive here today from the south to take in cargo for New Plymouth. The Wingatui, due to-day Jrom Auckland and Wellington, "wiTI dis-

charge Auckland cargo, and sail for Dunedin. The Waimarino is due this morning from Timaru. She is to sail for Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. The Kanna is an expected arrival at Lyttelton to-morrow from Portland, via Wellington. She will proceed to Dunedin, thence to Wanganui. The Poolta is to load at Lyttelton on March 5 for Napier and Gisbornc. The Waipiata is due here on March 4 from Auckland and Wellington. She is to sail the same day for Dunedin and Bluff. The Holmdale is due litis morning from Timaru, and is to sail this afternoon for Wellington, Wanganui, and New Plymouth.

SULTAN STAR'S FAST TRIP '.rr.Ess association telegram.) GISBORNE, March 2G. The Blue Star liner Sultan Star arrived in ballast yesterday to load frozen meat for England. The vessel broke her previous record for the voyage, being only 28 days 12 hours at sea and averaging 16i knots.

TEES DELAYED The Tees has again been dela\ed at the Chatham Islands by stormy weather and is expected to arrive at Lyttelton about Saturday or Sunday. She is to sail on Tuesday for tne inlands, via Wellington.
