RAWHITI DOMAIN BOARD

A meeting of the Rawhiti Domain Board was held last night. Mr E. A. M. Leaver presiding. Mr W. Hulme reported that the sub-committee deputed to select suitable trees for felling had marked 33 tree'. The committee recommended that the trees be felled and the pines sold for firewood, and that the monej obtained from the sale be spent solely for improvements to the sports grounds. A motion to fell the trees and sell the wood was carried, Mr A. E Lawry asking that his vote be recorded against the motion. Mr Hulmc's motion, that not; more than one cord be sold to any one purchaser over a period of two months, was carried.
