Ail interesting feature ol trie conference of the Municipal Association held in Wellington last week was mentioned in the report from the Christehurch City Council delegates before the meeting ot the council last night. It concerned the fate of the 61 remits considered by the conference. It was stated that of that total 26 were adopted and 21 were rejected. Included among those rejected was one from the Christehurch City Council suggesting the amendment of the regulations under the Municipal Corporations Act relating to the opening of the supplementary district electors' roll for inspection and also providing for a declaration under the Justices of the Peace Act by candidates for election.
