TRAMWAY CONCESSIONS TO RELIEF WORKERS
TO THE It PIT Oft Or TfTlt I»»1SS. Sir, —With regard to the suggested (ram concession to relief workers, I consider 8d for two days for single men and Is 4d for four days for married men far too much. Several relief workers, I for one. will be compelled to leave for our work at five in the morning, as the money policy of the Labour board will necessitate the abolishing of the previous board's free ticket to relief work. There is one good point, however, in the new proposal; a worker can change cars, thus going the whole distance. May I suggest that the daily return ride be od instead of 4d. since to all intents and purposes a free pass is out c>C the question'.' Yours, etc., I\ F. ROGAN. March LV., li^l.
