Dr. Doris Gordon, secretary of the New Zealand Obstetrical Society, has announced that the following ollicers have been elected:—President, Dr. Tracy Inglis (.Auckland); vice-presi-dent, Dr. 1,. C. L. Averill (Christchurch). Dr. William Irvir.K, of Christchurch. who has been president since the foundation of the society in 1027, is leaving on an extended visit to England. He was elected patron and a life member, and was presented with a silver cigarette box.
