A parliamentary bill designed to reduce the number of road accidents is being introduced to the 1 inline of Commons next week by the Minister for Transport, Mr Oliver Stanley. The measure will provide for the division of certain roads into traffic lanes, to which cars will have to keep except when overtaking other vehicles, and also | for the erection of barriers along j the middle of the great, main roads | to restrict, the number of vehicles j that will be able to travel in a line. The bill will also deal with the pedestrian who jeopardises his own life and the lives of other; road users by ignoring signs and signal:'. j
