While absent in Wellington ]ast week at tend in? the mu.ucipal conferfece Mr Sullivan's correspondence accumulated in Christchurch. On Sunday he took it with him to the country and through much of it. and finished with it by .-tannic early yesterday moniins. Till 2 p.m. he was kepi occupied receiving many callers, and a portion of the afternoon was similarly employed. Mr Sullivan lias returned to Wellington to attend the sittings of the committee, of which he is a member, that is enquiring into the film industry.
