On Saturday af f ernoon the Cooperative Rabbit Breeders' Association of New Zealand held an inspection afternoon at Hornby. A lai\ue

Hie 'first rabbitry to be inspected •was that of Mr P. A. Banks. Arrives load. who. commencing some 3 8 month? ago. with four head of stocl> has now a very fine rabbitry. containing approximately 100 healthy Angoras. Visitors were very much impressed with the economical method or housing Angoras, adopted by Mr Banks: particularly the colonies which ;<re proving so satisfactoiy at this iaim. Mr Banks gave a short talk on his experiences in rabbit farming, stating that during the whole of h's experience he wa= fortunate in not having one death in the rabbitry. The party next went to Mr L. G. liagcrty's rabbit l'arm. where thev were very much impressed by the improvements carried out during the last few months. Mr Hagerty was one nf three returned soldiers started by the association, and has made excellent progress. At "Mr J. T. Lunn's rabbitry some excellent specimens of Angora stud rabbits were seen. Mr Lunn is a i-pecialist breeder of Angoras, anii the visitors were very much impressed with his rabbitry. During the afterj.oon Mr Lunn gave a demonstration of grooming and shearing the Angora and the grading of the wool. At the conclusion of the demonstration, afternoon tea was served. Af:er the visitors had seen the rabbitry of Mr F. Kent, a new member of the association, Mr A. C. Duggan moved a \ ote of thanks to the rabbit farmers *ud their wives for their hospitality.
