(Received March 10, 5.5 p.m.) ROME, March 16. ■ It is understood that Signor Mus- • solini, Prime Minister of Italy, Dr. ; Dollfuss, Chancellor of Austria, and Dr. Gombos, Prime Minister ot Hungary, have reached a political ; and economic agreement which I affirms their intention to collaborate in tne restoration of the Danubian states. Others will be invited to adhere to the agreement.
FRIENDLY DISCISSIONS ROME, March 17. Signor Mussolini, Dr. Dollfuss, and Dr. Combos have reached agreement on the Danubian question and have also agreed to discuss all problems particularly interesting them in a spirit of friendship, with the view of following the policy of promoting the effective collaboration of the European states, particularly Italy, Hungary, and Austria. Their governments are establishing a permanent committee of three experts to formulate concrete proposals and lists of goods on which the preferences granted will be drawn up in May.
