(I'SESS ASSOCUTIUK TEUEQaAM.) PAHIATUA,- March 16. A high school boy, Alec Milne, who was swimming for a distance certificate, had a narrow escape from drowning in the municipal baths. He went under a second time, when Mr G. Slater, a master, instantly dived in and rescued the lad.
