♦ NICE. March 15. Fourteen hundred villagers, driven from their homes, are watching, by the light of bonfires, an avalanche steadily overwhelming Itoqucvilliere, which was devastated in 192(>. Stones and mud are pouring down the mountainside, flattening houses, and it is expected that the entire village will be buried in 24 hours.
