Heinemann, and Rabbi Katz, on behalf of the Jewish congregation in Wellington, have forwarded the lollowmg letter to Archbishop Redwood:— •'We lake great pleasure in extendin" to you our sincere and heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of your consecration as Bishop of the Holy Catholic Church We are deeply sensible ot the great and noble service you have rendered to the Godly cause of human welfare in our midst. Your power and influence have always been exerted in the best interests of communal peace, fellowship, and co-opera-tion You have been a veritable tower of strength for the preservation and promotion of the highest and noblest ideals in civic and national life. We fervently pray that God may continue to bestow His gracious blessings upon you, and grant you health and strength to carry on the sacred duties of your holy office far many, many yenrs to come." A letter from Archbishop Hod wood was read at. the Methodist Conference to-t.ay. thanking the conference for its cordial greetings.
