WHEAT 4000 YEARS OLD GROWING

FOUND IN INDIAN TOM P.

CALCUTTA, February 13. Grains of wheat 4000 years old arc growing successfully in several parts of India. They were found in u tomb which was unearthed in recent, excavations at Mohenjodaro, in Sincl. The wheat was apparently placed in the tomb to feed departed souls in the next world. It is described as of excellent quality, but entirely different to known varieties.
