The Briti.-h Government has decided to introduce a bill to extend the expert, credits system for allot her live year.-,. The scheme has been in existence since 1920, and the activities of the Export Credits Department have been world-wide. Under the Overseas Trade Act (1930) the period within which new guarantees mi.uht be eiven for export transactions was extended, until March 31, 1935, and the period during which, guarantees might remain "in force was extended till March. 1940. K is understood thai the new bill will continue each of these periods lor a further live years.
