Tiie president of the union (Mr W. J. Poison) said that the act provided for the election to the directorate of two representatives of the primary industries, and two representatives of industrial and commercial pursuits. The representatives of primary industries would be appointed by the Government, but he'had no doubt that the primary industries would be consulted.
