ART UNION RESULTS
TO THE r.HITOR 01' TUB I'KBSK. Sir,—Why is it that the first list of winners in the Lucky Surprise art union is incomplete? If the drawing is complete as the public understands it, does it not appear strange that a complete list is not published at once? Holders are apt to compare their tickets with the first list, and, not seeing a number corresponding, to destroy the ticket.—Yours, etc., TICKETHOLDER. Leeston, February 9, 1934. I When this letter was submitted to the representative in Christchurch of the art union he said that the official result, as printed on page IS of the issue of "The Press" of Tuesday, February 13, and signed by N. McArthur, secretary, was the only publication in the newspapers for which the art union authorities accepted responsibility, and it was official and complete. If application were made by I hi: correspondent, to the Christchurch agent for (he art union, Mr D. MeConnick, 146 Manchester .street, he would be supplied with a printed official list of the results.l
