\i;uo ci.i r. ac.tivi riF.s Ground training was carried mil. l).y members of the No. 3 (Bomber; Squadron of the New Zealand Territorial Air Force at Wigram Aerodrome yesterday as part of the refresher training course which the squadron is at present undergoing. The officers were taught the use of service cameras for aerial photography and the maintenance and use of machine guns. The bad weather, with poor visibility, lias prevented much flying from being done by members of the Canterbury Aero Club during the last lew days, but to-morrow the club's instructor. Mr J. C. Mercer, will fly to Invercargill, leaving at 5 a.m. He will take Mr A. S. Nicholls, of Christehureh, as his passenger, and return with him in the afternoon. Miss If. Montgomery, who flew to Blenheim on Sunday with Miss R. Wvnn-WiUiams as passenger, and whoso return has been delayed by the bad weather, is expected to arrive back to-morrow morning.
